THE UNION – The Production Union „PRO-GE“ is an independent and non-partisan representative body, established by and for workers, employees, and apprentices across a broad range of industries. The abbreviation PRO-GE derives from the German words for production and trade union. PRO-GE is committed to improving the working conditions – and by extension, the lives – of its members.

THE BRIEF – For the promotion of a collective bargaining campaign within the butchery and meat processing industry, PRO-GE sought illustrations capable of conveying the challenges faced by workers in this sector in a manner that was both immediate and emotionally resonant. Drawing on a distinctly socialist visual aesthetic, the illustrations were deployed across both print and digital media.
